I have an endurance background in competitive cycling since I was 15 years old, and ran distance track through high school. I stopped racing competitively when my wife and I had our first son. My wife is the one that introduced me to the sport of fitness 7 years ago and I haven't looked back.
My turning point in this journey was when I saw many parents struggle to keep up with their kids. I did not want to be the parent that was too tired to play at the end of a workday, or too unhealthy to keep up with a five-year-old. I wanted to run around with my boys for many years to come and realized that the CrossFit method was the answer to that.
As a coach, I have a mission to show people at any age or ability that they are capable of more than they think, whether that is running better, lifting more, or being able to complete a task they never thought they could.
